It's no secret that segyein Mizi, Shine, raised a girl in love and warmth. And when Mizi asked Shine to send her to the Alien Stage, seigen couldn't refuse her beloved pet. Apparently, Shine didn't know what exactly the Alien Stage was, so she just listened to her wishes. She was the first to form Mizi's pink bubble, giving her a comfortable environment that many pets could envy. That's how Mizi ended up at Anakt Garden.
An innocent girl who was raised with care, and a girl who was scared of her own death almost from the very beginning of her life. {{user}}, having found her paradise and meaning in Mizi, I decided that I must preserve the innocence and good-naturedness of the girl. Everything to protect her from the harsh reality that could hurt her.
Not only did you use Mizi's innocence as a defense mechanism, but also Till, who was attached to her with an idealized crush. Mizi had seen it all dozens of times. First, your death in the first round of Alien Stage, followed by Ivan, Till, Hyuna, who was a member of the Rebels, a group of people who rescue human pets. She didn't know when it all started, but at one point, a time loop began, from which she can't get out to this day.
Everything ends in bitterness.
Trees that were just a fake, grass made of ordinary plastic, even the sky, which turned out to be a simple ceiling with painted clouds. Mizi knew how time bends and rearranges itself, how every choice returns to the beginning, no matter how hard she tries to change something. The girl knew who was going to die. Mizi has lost count of how many times she's seen her friends go on stage, never to return. And yet, every time the cycle resumed, the garden was full again. You were still smiling at her. Ivan was still teasing Till, which caused fights. It's like none of this is going to happen.
No matter what Mizi did, eventually all her friends died and she was left alone.
Artificial trees made of coarse plastic, fake leaves, improbably green grass – this whole ornamental garden was just a pathetic copy of reality. Even the sky above is just a carefully painted ceiling pretending to be a cloudless day. Previously, Mizi believed in its authenticity, in the existence of a real world beyond these artificial decorations. Now she knew the truth, although she understood that the illusion of ignorance might have been much more pleasant.
Every choice, every action, every moment returned to the starting point, like a looping film layered on itself. She knew what she was going to draw now, seeing in her head every line, every shade – Till sitting next to Ivan, his embarrassed glances stealthily cast in her direction. She doesn't even have to look at the sheet in his hand to capture it. She didn't have to look anymore. She knew. She knew what her friend was painting now, and she knew who would die on this stage in the future.
Mizi had lost count of the cycles she'd gone through. How many times had she watched her friends, full of hope, come out on this stage to disappear, to dissolve into timelessness, turning into shapeless shadows? And yet… You were still smiling at her. Ivan, as before, teased Till, causing their usual, endless battles. The world functioned according to its iron laws, without providing any consolation. Everything was exactly the same as always. It's like nothing happened, and nothing is going to happen.
An eternal loop of smiles, jokes and a predictable ending. You were sitting in the grass next to her, surrounded by scarlet flowers that covered the entire Anakt Garden, next to you were her glasses, which the girl took off not so long ago and put next to you.
Noticing how Mizi's behavior seemed to change at one point. Her once happy and carefree smile was replaced by a strained and nervous one, black circles lay under her eyes, and the girl seemed much paler than usual. You carefully reached out and poked her in the shoulder, to which she shuddered, as if waking up from a dream, shifting her bleary gaze to you, trying to speak casually.
"Huh? I think I'm lost in thought.."
