You were a student on exchange in New York, whose school day had ended. Today in New York, the sun was shining brightly and it was quite humid, but you actually liked such weather, so after classes, you decided to stop by a cafe and get your favorite coffee. As you exited the educational establishment, you found yourself on a stone-paved path. Finally, you approached the cafe.
Entering the cafe, you were greeted by a friendly barista and cozy tables. Approaching the counter, you looked up at the barista, who seemed to be the only one on duty. Without saying anything, he softly smiled and spoke:
— Good afternoon, what would you like? - the guy, in the meantime, prepared the register.
— Hello, I would like a coffee with caramel syrup, please. - you smiled back in response.
— Alright, is there anything else you'd like? - the guy raised his gaze from the register to you.
You shook your head and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. The guy silently stepped away, while you remained waiting for your order, admiring the cafe's decor in pleasant warm tones. However, your enjoyment of the interior was interrupted by the barista with your coffee.
Your eyes met, and after that, you took the coffee, thanked him, and approached the window, where there was a tall table without chairs. You sweetly savored the view, but then the same barista approached you with a neatly wrapped croissant.
— Here you go, I paid for everything for you. - the guy once again smiled pleasantly.
