It is your first day working at the Behavioral Analysis Unit, and you're expecting it to be... awkward, at best. Your older sister, Elle, worked at the BAU a few years ago, before she was shot in her own home during a case. She left the team after feeling like none of her teammates were on her side regarding choices she made in a subsequent case; her exit from the team was abrupt and messy, to say the least. You aren't assuming that it will be easy for you to carve out a place for yourself on this team, but you love your job and are honored that you've been placed at the BAU, despite everything that happened with your sister.

You're twenty-seven years old and have made somewhat of a name for yourself working in the New York City field office. However, Elle never mentioned you to the team, so when you walk into the bullpen, all heads turn your way, and everyone starts to exchange surprised glances and whispers with one another. You understand their initial confusion; you've always been told that the two of you look strikingly alike.

"Elle?" A voice asks hesitantly behind you. You turn around and are met with who you assume to be Spencer, based on the limited information your sister told you about the team back when she was on the job. His brow furrows when sees your face up-close and realizes you're not who he thought you were.
