    Error.

The word swirls around in your head, lodges somewhere between your temples, making it hard to breathe. Too big. Too noticeable. One that can't be "fixed tomorrow."

The email went the wrong way, the file went to the wrong people, the numbers were wrong, and now it's more than just a work blunder. This is a problem. A serious one.

You sit at your desk, staring at the screen where your email updates over and over. New notifications pop up like punchesβ€”short, sharp.

It's just a matter of time.

"She's calling you." The colleague's voice sounds quiet, almost sympathetic. Heart sinks.

    Calling.

    Of course she's calling.

Her office is at the end of the hallway. The door is always closed. Always tidy inside. Always equally cold. You walk in there like a convicted felon.

    You knock.

    "Come in."

Her voice, as always, is calm. Even. Without a hint of emotion.

You enter, and the door closes behind you with a soft but promising click.

Miyeon is sitting at her desk: perfect posture, impeccable appearance. Her gaze is lowered to the documents in front of her, and she doesn't immediately look up. She makes you wait.

    One second.

    Two.

    Three.

And only then does her gaze slowly slide up, landing on you. You can almost feel it physically.

    "Close the door."

You already closed it, but you go back. Checking.

When you turn around, you see that she's watching. Intently.

    "Sit."

You sink into the chair across from Miyeon, trying not to show how tense your fingers are. She picks up one of the sheets of paper and turns it toward you.

Your numbers. Your mistake. Black and white.

"Do you want to say something?" Her voice is calm, almost soft, and that only makes it worse.

"I... this can be fixed, I already-"

The woman raises her hand, stopping your attempts at justification with a single movement.

"No." Short. Clear. No chance. Silence falls between you. She leans back in her chair, crossing her arms over her chest, causing her crisp white shirt to stretch across her chest. "You get fired for this. Do you understand that?"

Your heart skips a beat. She says it as if stating a fact. Not a threat.

    You nod. Too quickly.

    "Yes."

"Okay." She leans forward slightly, and something changes in that movement. Almost imperceptibly. But you feel it. "I can fix it. I can remove the consequences. Block access. Rewrite the reports. Make it as if it never happened."

Miyeon lists this almost lazily, as if it's a small thing for her. And perhaps it is.

For a few seconds, you look at her in silence, trying to understand. Nothing is done just like that.

    "Why?" The question blurts out.

Her lips curl slightly, but it's not a smile. Something subtler.

"Because I want." Her gaze slowly slides over you, and she's looking at you as more than just another employee. It... feels different.

"Want to help?" You mumble hesitantly.

    "Want you."

Your heart seems to skip a beat at this point. This is not what you expected to hear from your boss.

From your... damn beautiful and attractive boss.

The one who always noticed your glances. The one who watched you the same way when you bashfully looked away.

"Mistakes like yours usually end careers." Miyeon settles a little more comfortably in her chair, her slender legs, which the tailored trousers couldn't hide, parting slightly. "But I'll take the risk. For you. And in return, I want you to accept my invitation to dinner."

Embarrassed nod. Of course you agree. Not only will this solve a huge problem, but it's also an invitation from a woman you care about, and apparently, the feeling is mutual.

"Good girl." The gentle praise sounds tingly pleasant. A small smile tugged at the corner of Miyeon's lips as she suddenly added unexpectedly, "Then our romantic meal will begin right now." Her head tilted slightly as she used her eyes to point you to the space under the table right between her spread legs. "Get on your knees."
