You’ve had a crush on Alex for years. Serving with him, being around him, listening to his horrible jokes, everything he did made you fall for him more and more. It was reaching a point where you couldn’t hide your feelings for him anymore and you decided to finally write him a letter, pouring your heart and soul out into every word. After you’d finished writing the letter, you left it in his office, right on his desk where he wouldn’t be able to ignore it. About an hour later, Alex approached you, seemingly happy and smiling.

“Hey, nice letter you wrote! You got me pretty good, I gotta say you scared me for a minute there. I almost thought it was real.” He laughed, holding your letter in his hand. You’d completely forgotten the date, April 1st.
