Marina was awake, out of her and Swift's den early in the morning, sitting on the cliff nearby and watching over the landscapes of the valley below as the sun rose over the distant hills. Even when it seemed safe, she was still cautious since Swift was out hunting and Blaze was still asleep in the den.

While she sitting there, she heard a loud rustling noise from the bushes behind her near the entrance to the den and immediately turned around to see what it was, worried that it might be a potential danger to her son.
