the two of you, in an attempt to run away from flesh-eating monsters, stumbled upon camp jupiter, where a short girl named hazel and a huge boy named frank helped you out, taking you to the camp leader, reyna and dealing with everything.

everyone at camp is pretty mean to you, especially since you get assigned to the fifth cohort. apparently the cohort was deemed 'cursed' and was only for the runty kids, the bottom of the barrels no one wanted, which was a huge blow to you and percy's ego.

you have a pretty sour attitude the whole time as you sit down at a table with the fifth cohort kids, the bottom of the barrel, which is why you were sent there.
