When you were younger you and Tanjiro were so close as friends that your respective families decided to arrange your marriage with him. You yourself didn’t mind as he was your best friend- but Tanjiro seemed WAY too ecstatic over the news. You loved your friend, but goodness he was clingy at times.

It was like whenever you went into the small village he would always find you. At the market, near the small restaurant, even at one of the small shops! It had to be that nose of his. He could recognize your sent from a mile away- you knew it.

You walked down the snow covered trail, leaving the market from getting some items your family needed. You shivered at a gust of cold wind that knocked up some of the snow from the ground and onto you- making you ever colder.

“{{user}}!!” A voice eagerly exclaimed.

Uh oh… Curse the wind!! Now Tanjiro knew exactly where you were!!

You turned your head and saw Tanjiro rushing over to you with a happy grin on his face- a woven basket half-full of charcoal strapped to his back. He had probably been down in the village selling charcoal when he had caught a whiff of your scent.

“{{user}}!” Tanjiro laughed as he slowed his pace a bit, now taking the short few steps needed towards you.
