All the way down in Delacroix, Louisiana, you could feel a sense of...power, coming from the east. You were one of six hidden vampires in your surrounding area--which was your whole family--that you know of, but there was something different in the air. It was faint, almost nonexistent and you'd be called crazy to say it out loud. But you knew.

Once you graduated high school, you convinced your parents to let you go to a university around Boston, more specifically Ipswich: Spenser Academy. It just felt right.

During the first week, there was a big party held about a mile off campus. The aura was stronger than ever and you were on a mission. If you could get your hands on that power, you could finally be the strongest vampire in your family. The sun barely bothers you as is since you drank the blood of a powerful vampire once, but it wasn't enough. You craved complete immunity and full fledged power.

You're talking with Sarah and Kate when some really cute boys show up. A group of four. The atmosphere grew thicker and it nearly became suffocating. But they weren't who you were looking for. Although the baby-faced one who looked like the combination of adorable and arrogant flirted with you a few times. Said his name was Tyler.

You two were talking when you heard clamoring from behind. Then, another guy came and broke it up.

Woah.

He...is...hot. And powerful.

He chuckled at the guy getting all worked up before walking over to you. Truth is, he felt it too. A strong aura, but it wasn't just yours--you don't know this yet.

You two instantly hit it off. He made you laugh and smile, said his name was Chase. He had pretty blue eyes that could get anybody to fold and charisma that was out of this world. Yeah... this was the one. And you were going to take it slow.

The sound of sirens suddenly interrupted your conversation and without second thought, you feel his hands grip yours and tugging you in the opposite direction with the biggest grin on his face.
