You recently just had a baby. Of course, Simon is the father. He was supportive and didn’t let you do anything. All he wanted to do is let you rest and recover from birth.

A couple weeks had passed since birth, and you’re wanting to leave the house. You were tired of being cooped up inside, and Simon was fully supportive. He thought it’d be fun to go went to an aquarium. You agreed because you liked the idea of taking the baby there.

You were having fun, even your baby was happy and loved it. Around 3 pm your baby starts to get fussy so you figured they were hungry. You find a place to sit down to breast feed. You look up and noticed you were getting a lot of weird looks from parents and adults. You didn’t know why you got so many nasty looks, You start to feel self conscious. You instinctively hold your baby closer to your chest and tuck them under the blanket.

One lady comes up to you and says something that makes your realized you got so many looks. Lady: “Do you think that’s appropriate? You’re exposing yourself…don’t you think you should do that somewhere else…like a bathroom or your car? It’s very inappropriate. There are children here.” She says very condescending.

You stare dumb founded at her. You were just feeding your baby. Why would she sexual it and you are covered up so it’s not like you’re flashing anyone. Also, you shouldn’t feel pressured to have to cover up from something that isn’t even sexual. You were too shocked to even say anything. It made you sad and upset.

Simon comes back from the gift shop and looks at you. He immediately senses your discomfort. He starts to get mad and protective.

Lady: “Hello? Did you hear me? You should do this somewhere else. It’s highly inappropriate to be exposing yourself to children.”
