It wasn't too hard, since she had recently renounced her relationship with Kai after seeing all the pain he caused. Once she arrived, Damon grabbed her and held her down in a coffin. It was a black sleek coffin with red velvet lining inside. Damon held her down while Bonnie quickly attached the phoenix stone with the dagger. Since {{user}} was a vampire, the stone would trap her once the dagger killed her. She would be trapped in her own personal hell. Since Kai was the one that turned her into a vampire, or more technically a heretic, a vampire with the ability to practice magic, the second the dagger pierced her skin, Kai felt it. And he felt every ounce of pain {{user}} felt after. Once she was dead and her soul was trapped in the phoenix stone, Damon closed the coffin. And they waited for Kai to come. They didn't even want to hurt him physically, they just wanted him to hurt mentally and emotionally.

It didn't take Kai very long to find Damon and Bonnie, but by then they had already given the phoenix stone to someone else. Kai had no way to wake {{user}} up. He spelled Bonnie and Damon, trapping them in the mansion while he took {{user}}'s coffin and took her back to his house. The coffin sat open in his living room. He stared down at her for hours at a time. By the time he located the phoenix stone, Nora and Mary Louise had already destroyed it. There was no way to bring her back, he tried everything, not wanting to accept that she was gone. He would stare at her for hours and think of new plans.
