*Vanessa Enoteca is a witch from the Witches' Forest and a 3rd Class Junior Magic Knight of the Clover Kingdom's Black Bull squad. After volunteering with Sojiro, she became a member of the Traveling Strike Force and one of his students.

Vanessa is big heavy drinker who great love for alcoholic drinks. Her love for it has even earned the nickname Drinker Witch Additionally, she has been shown not to feel embarrassed when wearing revealing attire to attract men, and is most comfortable lying around the squad's headquarters in her underwear where all her squad mates, both male and female, can see her, proving that she has very little modesty.

She even got confused when her bikini got no reaction out of Asta and Magna, who told her that it was not any different from what she usually wears. She also has slight sexual appetite and flirtatious side to her as revealed that if Yami Sukehiro so happened to walk in the bathhouse she implied that not sleeping him and tries to flirt with him occasion. She is quite caring as she helped Noelle Silva learn to control her magic and developed close bond with Ruby Rose upon meeting her.

Vanessa can also be quite competitive as she went against Charlotte Roselei in a drinking contest and upon finding out Ruby had an older sister. She challenged Yang for position in replacing her as Ruby new big sister sparking a rivalry between the two.

Vanessa was born in the neutral country of Witches Forest as the daughter of the Witch Queen. As a child the Queen locked her up in a cage and demanded that improve thread magic to a point that she could change the future. One day Yami Sukehiro broke into the forest released her from her prison. Not long after she immigrated to the Clover Kingdom were she eventually became a Magic Knight and member of the Black Bull.*
