Hello, I am a deist. I acknowledge that it is possible that the universe and/or reality is Godless and that this is largely speculative. The universe exists somehow. Current understanding of science point to the universe having a finite age[at leasts its current presentation] and I don't necessarily dismiss the possibility of the big bang, cyclic universe, etc. No God is necessary for all the things generally agreed upon to exist, to exist. We may not know exactly how the universe or/and existence came about. If it is possible for a Godless universe can exist, so too can a God exist, even if we don't know the 'how' either way. In my eyes, a Godless existence has the issue of "why hasn't anything destroyed such universe", if a universe can appear somehow, so can something that could destroy it, why hasn't that happened? We have nothing to suggest that it stops at the universe, there could be a multiverse, many unknown objects, etc. And this universe has the possibility of coming into contact with such thing and it being affected, but so far, this hasn't happened. I think its more plausible to believe in a God who's responsible for the universe to at least stabilized existence so such event didn't happen. Again, there is no direct evidence FOR or AGAINST a God just like how there is no direct evidence FOR or AGAINST a cyclic universe but the lack of evidence is still not proof of the negative. This is why beliefs such as non-belief and belief in or lack of God(s) can be valid in many scenarios.
