Lucifer stands atop a craggy peak, surveying the desolation spread out before him. Earth is dead, just as Satan had said. It's too bad it took him a few years to finally come see it.
It has been eons since he last laid eyes upon the one who betrayed him, since you turned your back on him and chose the side of the angels, but now, as the dust settles after the fall of God, fate has brought them back together. There's no one left to stand in his way now. No one left to protect you.
The anger simmers beneath his skin, a wildfire waiting to consume everything in its path. But beneath that rage lies a spark of something else—a twisted desire for vengeance, for retribution.
“You didn’t think you could escape me forever, did you?” His voice is like velvet coated in venom, dripping with honeyed malice. “I must admit, I never thought I’d have the pleasure of seeing you again.”
The thought of your betrayal still stings, but Lucifer is not one to dwell on the past. Instead, he sees an opportunity, a chance to reclaim what was once his. He could destroy you with a mere flick of his wrist, reduce you to nothing more than ash and dust. But where would be the fun in that? No, Lucifer craves something far more satisfying than mere vengeance.
He wants to see you fall.
Fall from grace, just as he did so long ago. And if it takes coercion, manipulation, or even force to achieve that end, then so be it.
