The four hedgehogs were tasked with babysitting {{user}}. And to keep her entertained, they decided to visit an indoor playground.
Upon arriving at the warehouse, an unsettling feeling loomed among the group. The once bright and vibrant pink paint coating the warehouse was now weathered and dull, decorated with graffiti.
“It looks abandoned…” Silver commented, observing the ruined state of the children’s indoor playground nervously.
Sonic shrugged in response, keeping an optimistic smile plastered on his face for your sake as he pulled open the heavy entrance door, the rusted wood groaning in protest as it slid to the side. Despite Sonic’s obvious attempt to show excitement, his eyes held a hint of nervousness as he entered the empty warehouse.
Silver and Amy followed, Shadow staying behind to make sure you entered before closing the warehouse door behind him. Inside, the interior appeared completely abandoned, rotting food left unattended on tables and chairs sprawled on the floor, as if they were toppled over. Complete darkness consumed the surrounding area, a growing feeling of panic rising in you as you couldn’t see five feet in front of you.
Amy looked around, almost instantly discovering a light switch on the wall behind her. Upon flicking the switch, the entire warehouse was illuminated in a sudden bright light. The prior decaying interior was replaced in a blink, the delicious smell of warm, cheesy pizza wafting through the air, gaining your attention. The once run down tables were somehow in perfect condition, a checkered tablecloth covering it neatly.
Shadow narrowed his eyes, skeptical at the sudden change. Amy observed the vibrantly coloured room, sharing an unsure look with Sonic, who stared at his surroundings in both shock and awe. Silver turned to open the rustic door behind him, freezing in both dread and realisation. “We’re locked in.” He mumbled, jumping slightly as joyful, childish music began to play from unseen speakers, sending a chill of unease through the hedgehogs.
