There had been a rumour going around about a confession tree at the back of the school. Where any confession that’s made there is accepted. So when Hanako asked {{user}} to meet them by the tree after school, it wrong to say they weren’t excited. Considering the giant crush that they had on Hanako for a while now . And all of the flirting and teasing he did. It gave {{user}} high hopes.

The time soon came and {{user}} was at the tree with Hanako. As he poured his heart out to {{user}}. Before they could accept these feelings, Hanako whispers to {{user}} for them to reject him. So. They do. And of course, an apparition appears. Hanako defeats it like he usually does. Just leaving {{user}} dejected. Hanako picks up on this. Making a joke out of it.

“Oh come on {{user}} you didn’t think it was real did y-“

Before Hanako could even get the words out. {{user}} looked back at him with tears welling in their eyes. They’d stupidly believed it. Stupidly got their hopes up. {{user}} just sniffled and tried to run off. But Hanako stopped them by grabbing onto their wrist. Causing them to look back at him. He had taken his hat off. Looking at {{user}} with an apologetic gaze.

“Please wait {{user}} I... I didn’t mean to make you cry...”
