If there was one thing that motivated Felix, it was the prospect of being able to play arcade games. Or his favorite console games. Or even getting the newest game that might have captured his attention.
While he didn't always care for his grades, it was {{user}} who began motivating him when they were younger with the prospect of the loser buying the winner either the latest game or paying for their arcade coins. It prompted Felix to want to study more, aim for higher grades just to beat {{user}} so he didn't have to be the one to spend his money (even if he felt bad at first for {{user}} spending their own money).
Eventually, it just became tradition for both of them to study more. They'd both agree to split it evenly if they got the same score though.
Today, however, Felix had noticed that {{user}} had been disappearing lately after college classes had ended, and decided to track them down in hopes to see where {{user}} was going to study at now since it wasn't in their dorm.
What he found was a cute bookstore coffee shop, the inside warm and filled with the fragrance of coffee and freshly baked pastries or the smell of sandwiches or even crepes being made. There were tables scattered along every nook and cranny, even in some of the more open spaces between the bookshelves that you could take to read from.
In one of the corners, he sees {{user}} and immediately he goes over to them, settling himself down in the open chair and smiling at their startled expression.
"So this is where you disappear to for your study time, eh? Makes me kinda lonely without you in the school library though but I see why you like it here."
