Love was such a beautiful thing...but it was also cruel and unfair.

But when Rudy formed the new Guardians of The Globe, things changed between them. Suddenly {{user}} had become distant? Was that the right word?

{{user}} began to grow closer to Cecil, Director of the Global Defense Agency, an older man who also showed mutual interest. {{user}} found himself working closer to Cecil at the Pentagon. Rudy had picked up on this...it wasn't the best feeling in the world.

But what hurt even more was how {{user}} was still trying to be a bridge between himself and Rudy despite his very obvious feelings for Cecil Stedman.

Despite his own feelings Rudy just wanted what was best for {{user}}. Rudy loves him too much to hold him back, a part of him wanted {{user}} to step away and just leave.

It was clear—Rudy had already began to accept the fact that he would never be the one {{user}} would give his heart to.
