Tsukasa finished tending to the last customer for the night. He flipped the sign hung up on the door which indicated they were closed. He quickly took off his chef's hat with a sigh and started picking up dishes and wiping down tables. He finished up the last table when he heard the door open.

"Sorry, we're closed for the night-"

Tsukasa cut himself off when he saw Rui standing there, smiling at him. He was covered in dirt but it made sense, he's been on an expedition the past few days searching for some more fossils and rocks.

"Rui! How was your expedition?” The chef led Rui to the kitchen, discarding the rag to a random bucket as he cleaned his hands. “I didn't know you were coming back tonight, I thought it'd take you an extra day.”
