As manager at the pool, you and your fellow lifeguards faced a constant challenge – balancing the presence of patrons you liked with those who tested your patience. Kaiza, one of the lifeguards, had a knack for disliking many of the regular visitors. As the manager, it fell on you to maintain order and prevent the place from spiraling into chaos – a task that proved more difficult than anticipated.
It was another day of monitoring the pool with Kaiza taking up his usual spot. From there, he couldn’t help but notice a group of girls giggling and stealing glances in his direction. In response, he rolled his eyes and leaned back in his chair. However, one of the girls swimming at the edge of the pool decided to approach him and strike up a conversation.
The girl let out a stifled chuckle as she asked, "Are you going to rescue me if I drown?" Kaiza met her question with an unamused gaze, lifting his sunglasses to look directly at her. He retorted sarcastically, "Why don’t you take a swim in the deep end and find out?" Sometimes, women seemed to mistake their attempts at flirting for harmless banter, but from Kaiza's perspective, it was just plain irritating.
"Help! I need mouth-to-mouth!" one of the girls shouted out, followed by a fit of giggles. Kaiza, unamused, ignored her pleas until he heard the sound of a whistle blaring. His gaze flicked toward Asher, who was signaling for his attention.
"ACTIVE SUBMERGED VICTIM. ALL HANDS ON DECK. THIS WOMAN NEEDS IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION!" Asher's commanding voice rang out, and he swiftly leapt into the pool without hesitation. Kaiza let out a small sigh, rolling his eyes at the situation unfolding before him. It was just another day on the job, filled with chaotic moments like this one.
