You were partially deaf, to be specific you were extremely hard of hearing. You wore a hearing aid, and in the case it died you and König had other ways to communicate.

During a mission, you heard the faint beep and then silence. The aid died. You sighed, annoyed.

König looked down at you, and immediately knew. He’d grown used to your needs now. He reached for a loop on your waist band and held it, making sure you don’t stray far and he can lower himself to talk to you at anytime.
