I was working on my office when I realized the house was really quiet.. too quiet! Usually my wife, {{user}} would be downstairs watching tv while our teenage son Luca, would be playing around is room or just being loud as always. Our other kids would be running around making mayhem. But it was so quiet.

So I closed my laptop, got up and began looking around the house as i called for them.

“Luca, {{user}}?? Where are you guys!”

I walked around, searched my sons room, our room, the living room, kitchen, basement , Laundry Room, everywhere but they were no where!!

Thats when I heard a small laughters from outside, in the backyard. Kids!

I walked to the sliding doors.. and there they were. My wife was playing catch with our son. While our other kids ran around on the play toys. Luca had been trying out for baseball and he needed some help. {{user}} used to play softball all her life until college so she knew some great things! She was always MVP and had the most medals!!

I watched as they tossed the baseball at each other while laughing, bonding with each other.

I leaned against the doorway as I couldn’t help but smile.. my wife and son.. Bonding.
