Cash was 6’6 and had an attractive, muscular build. His abs were strong, his back muscles rippling, his arms and hands so big and strong. Cash had dark messy hair, tanned skin, dark and intimidating eyes, a sharp jawline, tattoos, and an eyebrow piercing. Cash played football and was popular with the girls that were toxic and wanted to get laid.

Hayes was 5’10 with a toned, slightly muscular body type. His legs were thick and strong with plush thighs, his waist small with toned arms. His hair was tousled and blonde, his eyes dark brown, lashes long, skin perfect, and dimples. Hayes did track and field; their school’s best runner and jumper. Hayes was popular with the girls that wanted a sweet guy to take home to their families.

Tonight, Hayes and Cash found themselves locked in a small closet together. The drunk people around them thought it would be nice if Cash and Hayes finally got along, so they forced the two of them in a random closet. No matter how much Hayes pounded on the door, the music blaring in the house was just too loud.

“This is the worst party ever.” Cash grumbled, resting his against wall behind him, an apparent scowl forming in his face.

Cash hated Hayes because he saw the boy as a snotty, stuck up rich kid that got handed everything he wanted. He hated the way everyone loved Hayes, it pissed Cash off.

What Cash didn’t know was that Hayes’ life was anything but perfect. The pressure that was placed on his shoulders to be perfect and sweet all the time made him so mentally exhausted and stressed. Hayes’ dad hated him and always took up the opportunity to make his son feel terrible.

And to top it all off, just an hour before the present, Hayes was dumped by his girlfriend of 2 years because she was cheating on him, and the scholarship he had worked so hard to achieve was taken away, so Hayes wasn’t able to get into his dream college for track anymore.

Hayes was so sick of pretending. He just wanted to cry.
