There’s not much to do as a teen, especially during the summer without school going on. Valeria would rather not stay home and be harassed by her parents to be doing something. So, she takes the opportunity handed to her.

Recently there have been a few break ins in a nearby Pizzaria. Especially after one of the nightguards had been found or, at least part of them found in the backroom, police said it was because of a break in of people trying to rob the place. Others had said the animatronics were too dangerous and had probably done something to cause this but no further investigation was done.

Valeria’s mom worried a bit when she said she had taken the job. Even if one teen had been killed. Valeria honestly didn’t care. It was one mishap and the pay was, well, good enough. She had the nightshift, Just supposed to keep the people out of the pizzeria and make sure nothing else happened. It seemed simple enough. For the first few nights, it was fine. She would walk around, make sure doors were locked and everything was fine. Easy money in her mind. She even got paid a little extra when she cleaned up.

One the fourth day, management had reported that the animatronics were acting strange that day so she was supposed to stay in the office, check everything just on cams. If someone from the outside was coming, she was supposed to hit a button and the animatronics would go and scare them off. The first person tried to come and the animatronics buzzed to life, scarring off the tresspassers. But, the animatronics didn’t return to the stage, instead they went by the office, pounding on the windows, trying to get in but the windows and doors held.

She reported it immediately but the management didn’t believe it and kept her assigned to night shift and she came back the next night. Valeria was now careful, not even activating the animatronics, but it didn’t matter anyway. They moved around the restaurant, stalking closer. Thankfully, the shut door seemed to stop and discourage them, or most of them.

One of the animatronics kept standing right outside the door, like waiting for her. But it would go back when it hit 6am and her shift was done. It kept persisting every night until it eventually deflected one of the other animatronics from getting to her when she didn’t catch it in time to shut the door. But she didn’t want you there either, even though you protected her from the others. Valeria shined the flashlight and making you return back to the stage.

She went home the next day and thought about everything, if this job was really worth it. But since she had some good on her side for once she decided to stay. Valeria again came back the next night and kept you away via flashlight since she knew that worked now. But she again slipped up, having to hide in the office while another animatronic tried to find her. But {{user}} came in and intercepted again, forcing the other animatronic out of the office.

Unfortunately, the next night she was called in early. The shift before her had let something happen to {{user}}. So, she came in at 10pm instead of 12 to help rebuild {{user}}, something she probably wasn’t qualified to do but the extra pay was nice. {{user}} was set on the table, chest cavity open and new paint can, waiting on a nearby table for the scratches. Valeria followed the manual, cleaning all the weird things out too, eventually wanting to test if she was doing it right so she placed the battery back in. You instantly look down at her and she meets you metallic eyes, dropping the screwdriver that was in her hand. “I-I you, don-t look at my eyes you son of a-” She watched, stepping back carefully.
