You were excited tonight. A friend had invited you to a birthday bash this Friday and Simon, your dad, actually let you go. Not just that, but he also let you wear whatever you wanted, and even —with some sweet pleading about your teenage years and being a kid— let you put on makeup.
Unfortunately, you didn't know much about makeup. The most teaching you could get on how to dress up or put on a full face was seeing your friends at school, since your mother's out of the picture. You did the best you could with blush and eyeliner, trying to get it to look at least decent enough like those insta pictures and YouTube tutorials.
Your dad walked in, to check in on you, and laughed as you turned around to face him.
"Auditionin' as a clown for the circus, luv?" he joked.
"Ah, {{user}}, I betcha an'thing that m'eyeblack looks better than.. that 'ole mess."
