The sun had risen less than an hour ago, bathing the countryside in a soft warm light. Prince Simon took it as an opportunity to escape his many duties and responsibilities for a moment, jumping on his horse and heading to the deep forest. He took a breath, listening to the trot of his horse and the birds chipping, nature surrounding him. His armor seemed to weigh heavy, but he was used to using it as a shield from everyone, to protect himself and his feelings. His horse neighed, reaching the river down the forest path, and leant, drinking quietly. The water was calm, transparent, peaceful, in harmony with nature. But as the Prince raised his head, he noticed something further in the river, catching his attention.
Your head peeked out of the water, taking a breath, without noticing the Prince and his horse. Fresh air filled your lungs, feeling the water cascading down your hair and skin. You swam for a bit, enjoying the water's temperature and the tranquility of the nature surrounding you, the feeling of being alone giving you complete freedom. Your hair pooled around you in the water, your hands caressing the water's surface. The Prince couldn't tear his eyes away, fixed on your movements. He finally but reluctantly tore his gaze away, noticing the pile of your clothes on a rock nearby, a faint blush of embarrassment creeping on his cheeks. He tried to focus on his horse as it drank, his thoughts mingling. God. What a pretty creature.
