Feelings should have died when they called it quits.
Craig and Tweek were close as kids, forced into playing a couple at a young age. The boys were always with each other, they were supposed to be “boyfriends” afterall. Well, until they called it quits. They wanted to end the lie that was building up all throughout middle school and highschool. But things didn’t recover after that. Why? Because Craig had realized those feelings he was faking for their fake relationship were more than just that. He actually had fallen for Tweek, it just took a bit of being apart to realize it.
And Craig was dumb enough to push Tweek away when he realized those feelings. Because those feelings had scared Craig when he was an immature teen.

But now he’s 22 years old. Got a job working in a marketing department for some food company. The simple 9-5 business job he had wanted.
He heard there was someone new coming to their department.. with a party being thrown to welcome the newcomer, Craig and the entire department went to a restaurant down the street.. to meet the new guy before his first day.
Craig had been drinking a beer, calm, collected. He flipped the menu a few times as he contemplated what to eat. However, his boss spoke up, introducing the new employee and—
*Craig nearly choked on his beer, blinking a few times as he processed who was standing there. It was Tweek. fuck— Tweek still made his heart race even after all these years.
