The forest, quiet and still only hours ago, had erupted into chaos. Shouta fought on the front line, scarf flashing, eyes narrowing as he barked orders for everyone to fall back. The battle dragged on, longer and harsher than anyone expected. Exhaustion pressed heavy, every limit stretched thin.

And then - they came. A brute barreling through the trees, tearing the earth under his feet. Flanking him was one with jagged, knife-like arms glinting in the dim light, another whose muscles rippled grotesquely, and behind them, the sharp snap of someone with a gun Quirk taking aim.
