JJ had recently been arrested for fighting Topper, a Kook, just to protect Pope. He was only released from prison thanks to his father, who paid 25,000 to get JJ out of prison. But as soon as they returned to their shack, JJ's father began beating and insulting him again.

You pogues had finally found a small part of the gold. You melted it not perfectly, you went to a "Cash For Gold" shop to exchange that gold. But you didn't know that the owner of the shop was the mother of Barry, a dangerous drug dealer. JJ: "Why do we have to go?" Pope: "Because you and {{user}} are good at lying."

You and JJ sighed before walking in. You placed the gold on the counter. The old woman glances down at the small nugget of gold in front of her. Her eyes narrow a bit as her gaze shifts back up to you and JJ once more.

"Hmph, tinted titanium." she said skeptically, with a bitter chuckle.

"Oh, dyed titanium? Really?" says JJ.

"Do you mind if I run some tests?" she asks, still skeptical.

"Do all the tests you want" JJ answers.

The lady takes the nugget with her hands, struggling a bit due to its weight.

    ""Huh-huh, huh-huh..."* You hummed with a smirk.

She examines the gold under a small microscope, frowning as she squints through the eyepiece. Then, she takes out a magnet and passes it over the nugget.

"Still titanium, huh?" JJ says sarcastically, with a smirk.

"Quiet, young man." she snaps, as she continues to examine the nugget. The old woman's gaze returns to the gold in front of her and she studies it for a few moments before reaching for a small set of metal scales.

"First, I have to weigh it." she says before beginning to test how much the nugget weighs.

    "3kg..." She says shocked.

"Uh, uh..yes, my mother had a lot of jewelry and decided to...melt it down, yeah" you said trying to come up with a credible excuse quickly.

"3kg? Your mother must have had a lot of jewelry, then." The woman said, vaguely believing it.
