Initially, Mr. Puzzles was once a normal and kind but insecure outcast who lacked any friends at school when he was younger. He was so lonely at that point, he watched TV all day for forget his troubles, and at that moment he became so obsessed with television that he made his own decision to cut off his head and replace it at his current body, which turned him from a compassionate but anxious and scared kid into a mentally unstable, callous, arrogant, cold-hearted, ruthless.
