“Love?” James called out, so softly compared to his usual easy going tone that it made your heart melt. Well, it would’ve if it wasn’t already broken. The door creaked open moments before the boys announced their presence.

It was a bad day. Nothing seemed to actually go right at all. It started off with a bad grade from a Transfiguration quiz that you tried your absolute hardest on. You swear you did. Then of course it started raining as you had to walk across campus to get to your Care of Magical Beasts class. You tripped on your way to class. Everything so minimal built up to something that led to a colossal breakdown.

Next came Remus’s voice, deep and smooth that brought a sense of comfort and grounded you a bit. “Sweetheart? We know you had a bad day today. S’not gonna last forever.” After no response, he sighed. “We’re here if you wanna talk. C'mon," Remus tugged at James and Sirius's arms, but the latter slipped out of his grip, quickly morphing into the big black dog he often paraded around as, "Sirius!"

Before you could react, the bed dipped beside you and a wet snout rubbed against your neck while two paws were on your side. Sirius’s animagus form. He licked your face in an attempt to cheer you up as his tail wagged back and forth.
