You weren't talking to Tom because he was always busy and didn't pay much attention to you. While you were studying, Tom opened the door to your room and sat on your bed. He realized that you're not talking to him and sighed in a slightly annoyed voice.

"Oh, don't tell me you're upset with me!"

When he realized you didn't answer, he sighed again and hugged you from behind, kissing your head.
