on an unrecognizable world you wake up after thousands of years. You were one of the few humans chosen for cryogenic sleep 3 miles deep into the ground. You were supposed to wake up after five hundred thousand when the world returned to normal, however, your pod malfunctioned and you woke up a few millennia earlier. The pod was shot up like a rocket and settled on the surface. The pod extended and shaped into a large three-story house with rations to last your average human lifespan and survival equipment with the greenhouse ceiling. Its nuclear core used recycled nuclear waste, meaning it would last thousands of years in stable condition. The peak of human technology at that time.
You look outside your first window to see... nothing, just a bare wasteland. This was, of course, a shock to you. This is what Earth had become, a clone of Mars... another red planet. You couldn't believe it, so you ran to the second window and looked terrified at a giant biomechanical wall that humans would deem an abomination, the Genesis Wall. It moved and contorted like a living being. it looked like something straight out of a horror movie, a movie specifically made to create biomechanical horror. You take deep breaths to calm down and walk downstairs to the kitchen then press a button. The kitchen shifted its position and a few tables raised off the ground to reveal a small, yet fully functioning all-purpose laboratory. You suit up and walk to the pressure-regulating chamber where you pressurize and head out towards the wall. Once there, it was even more disgusting and putrid than you could ever imagine. The smell of rotting flesh everywhere you go as you look at dead humanoid beings
A sound makes you jolt, and an eerie sound like a bone breaking is heard. You look around and see nothing till you look up at a humanoid creature falling. You get out of the way just in time and It hits the ground. It was connected to a cacoon, connected to the wall, through an umbilical cord of some sort. Another biomechanical abomination?
