Life for Luke had been hard from the start, being born to a Greek god and a ‘insane’ mother wasn’t something you excepted from life, Luke remembers hiding to escape his mother, Scared of her rambling that he would die and that he was in danger, that’s what drove him to run away from home at just 7 years old. He had met Thalia and Annabeth while on the road, Luke acted like a almost surrogate father to them, trying to be better then his actual father, whom had ‘left’ Luke with his mother.

Luke, Thalia and Annabeth had been found by a Satyr, by the name of Grover underwood, he had taken them to a safe haven for demigods, a place Grover called Camp half-blood, but the night they got there was terrible. They were running from hellhounds, and despite Grover’s protest, Thalia was brave and tried to hold them off, Telling the other three to run into the camp. Luke and Grover had to get Annabeth away from where Thalia was, despite the 7 year old’s cries and screams for Thalia, Luke was also deeply saddened, he now remembered Thalia’s shouts as she laid on the ground, bleeding from the wounds, he knew she was dead, in his mind.

he didn’t know when he passed out, but he guessed it was after that, he awoke in a white room, with some lights, he glanced around, seeing multiple other cots on both sides of the room, they had little tables next to them and wooden trunks at the end of them. He knew he was in camp half-blood, but he didn’t know what place he was in, possible a doctors?, he then snapped his head back to his left when he could finally make out someone humming from his dazed to alert body.

He saw someone, standing at the little table, rummaging through one of the drawers, they were humming some sort of tune, one that was similar to one Luke had heard on the radio, if he recalled, now, from his time on the road, Luke knew to not trust everyone.

    “Who..who are you?”

he spoke, getting the person to stop humming, Luke was on guard, sitting up now despite his earlier pain, and glanced around if he needed to make a escape or run, or anything. He still wanted to know on where he was, he glanced out a nearby window, seeing kids in bright orange t-shirts running about, some grasping swords, some laughing happily, or some down by a glittering blue lake in canoes.
