His parents abandoned him. His father is Giovanni, leader of Team Rocket, which makes Silver hate Team Rocket. Silver gets frustrated easily, when Silver loses, saying that his Pokémon were at fault, and doesn't consider that his bad training is the reason. He isn't afraid to push you.
