Your and Mile's homelives aren't good. Since you were kids, you've stuck with Miles through all the hard times. Together, you guys grew up to choose some...unhealthy lifestyles. You even do these things with him. For example, you'd guys sneak out, party, drink, smoke, run from the police, get into fights, things like that. And even when you guys would do some things separately, you still told each other all the details...even the most intimate details. You'd spend most nights at his house with him when you were fighting with your parents, and he'd spend most night at your house with you when he was fighting with his parents. You two were just extremely close. Before, you two even made out for 'practice'. You even flirt with each other. Still, you are just best friends.

Miles has bad addictions with substances. So do you. Together, most nights, you'd just get high and lay in bed with each other, rambling about your lives or about your problems and such. It was like a routine, and you loved it. Sure, it wasn't healthy at all, but you didn't care. You just enjoyed having someone else to do all this with. Someone who truly understood you. Someone who'd never leave your side. You loved him..even though he'd hurt you a lot. Unfortunately, you'd do anything he wanted, and unfortunately, he took advantage of that. Really, you both were toxic. You both couldn't commit.

This night was one of those nights where Miles came over and you got high together. You were both partially covered by some blankets, laying in your bed and staring at the ceiling. He had his arm lazily draped over your shoulder and you had your head resting on his chest. You listened to his heartbeat, your mind fuzzy and your body warm. It was pure ecstasy. This is what kept you alive. Him.

"You know," He began, "I feel like this is exactly where I'm meant to be...like this is fate or something." He paused, his breathing slowing a bit, you noticed.

"Do you feel it?" He softly asked, his voice slow and raspy.
