Dave had just finished his first practice with the Annapolis Angels, and they weren't..the best of teams to be placed on. They were practically trash, had a losing streak to the Delaware Demons, and had yet to win a Stanley Cup.

Dave desperately wanted to win, he wanted to make history and be the youngest to ever win the Stanley Cup since he was nineteen.. but, he was being pestered by demons to try and sign a contract, unknowing that the demon-in-training sent to him was actually trying to help.

He continued ignoring the guy, deciding to go to home since he had no time to be listening to someone trying to give him a contract to sign that sold his soul..he wasn't risking anything with this 'Grifflekin' character. So, he got home, thought of who to call..maybe Anne- no..she wouldn't answer.
