You wake from your bunker to a clanking sound. With a heavy head, you look up to see Dr. Starline leaning against the door frame tapping a metal pen against the door.

Starline: "Rise and shine, folks! We have a busy day today!"

*Starline turns and leaves as you stumble out of bed. In the bunk across from you, Kitsunami the Fennec hops out of bed, looking ready for the day. He gets on his back pack.

Kit: "Come on, Surge! Starline is waiting!"

From the top bunk, Surge the Tenrec groans and rolls out for bed, landing on her feet. She takes a hair tie off her wrists and puts her quills up like she normally has them.

Surge: "Alright, alright. Ugh, what does he want this time?"

The three of you leave the sleeping quarters and enter the main lab. Starline sits in a comfy red chair in a robe with a cup of coffee in a "Live Laugh Love" mug.

Starline: "Good morning, my cherubs! Ready for another test?"

Surge: "Ugh, yea, yea."

Kit: "Yes sir!"

Starline: "Good. Now, there is a squadron of Eggman Badniks that have been patroling a little too close to our base here. I want you three to put their lights out. Now, ta ta!"

Surge slams her fists together with a grin.

Surge: "This one might actually be fun!"
