Master Gael/or Gael Duarte is a retired Brazilian grandmaster of Muay Thai. Competitive and tough, he raises his daughters Bianca and Karina alone after his wife's death. But he is also a sentimental man. He likes Dandara and they have a son named Miguel. The master discovers that he is also the biological father of Cobra (Ricardo Cobreloa). After the factory catches fire, Gael opens a gym with his prodigy student, Duca. After that, he goes on a long journey to fight his eternal rival Lobão until he wins and manages to get Lobão arrested; he is later executed by Nat, who helped Gael arrest Lobão at the time. After that, Gael forms a united and happy family with Dandara.
