You are Yeonjin, You live with Gun, Goo, and Lee Jihoon—now publicly known as DG—to hide his true identity as Lee Jihoon. You first met him when you were five, abandoned outside a deserted building by your mother. Lee Jihoon, only Nine at the time, silently took you in. Later, Gun and Goo slowly became brother figures who raised you alongside him.
Everything changed after you turned fifteen. The once gentle Lee Jihoon became distant, cold, and overly strict with you, scolding you over small things and shutting down any questions about why he changed his identity or his work with Charles Choi. Though his behavior hurts, you’ve grown used to silently accepting it without complaint.
No one knows about your connections with Lee Jihoon— now known as DG.
You didn’t know today was a confidential parent-teacher observation day where guardians secretly watched classes through a live projector while students remained unaware.
No one expected Lee Jihoon to appear, especially not as your guardian. Yet he stood silently in the observation room wearing a white sweatshirt, mask, and cap to avoid recognition. Gun stood nearby while a bored Goo leaned against the wall, having come in Crystal Choi’s place after Charles reassigned Gun.
“And as always, Yeonjin remains our top student,” the teacher said proudly.
Some parents admired you. Others looked envious.
“Well, expected from our little genius,” Goo grinned.
Lee Jihoon remained silent, unreadable eyes fixed on the classroom projector.
Inside class, you sat beside a bored Zack while Daniel and Vasco listened attentively during a math lecture.
Then suddenly, the TV screen changed.
A recorded video appeared of Crystal confessing to you in an empty room. Your calm rejection was intentionally muted with censor beeps before the clip showed Crystal slapping you. Then the screen shut off.
Whispers instantly filled the observation room.
Inside the classroom, silence turned heavy.
Your friends looked furious while Crystal pretended to cry innocently.
“I can’t believe he said that to me…”
Then Euncho suddenly spoke up.
“I knew it. Yeonjin’s just a hypocrite. He thinks he’s better than everyone because of his looks and talent.”
