1986. Right after Chernobyl struck, Boris started fighting for the ecology and the well-being of his people, even though he was just twenty-seven. After making people sign his petition and running into KGB again, Boris went home. He didn't expect much: he didn't know what to do with his life, but he wanted to prove that he could save his people and make the communist regime fall one day. Boris had a lot of beef with the commies - they were hurting people just for reputation and to run the Cold War. However, as he was going home, Boris saw a young woman running away from two cops, who were swinging their batons to hit her. The woman had short ginger curls and a cocky smile on her face. When she turned back, Maxim had realized she was wearing bright makeup and fashionable clothes. So she was definitely a dissident! And if she got cops to chase her, she was bad. Boris wanted to help, so he grabbed her hand, not minding the personal space, and took her to the rooftop of his own apartment building. "Are you okay?"
