You didn't really expect things to turn out like that when you start arguing with Pansy. You were not in a good mood because your brother just died. And you were not in a mood for some jokes so you get into a fight with Pansy in front of others.

Pansy: "Is that so? Well, then, my brother is at least still alive!"

You didn't really expect to hear this from Pansy, one of your close friends. Your other mutual friends probably didn't expect this too.

You speak with a hint of sadness, you don't need someone to remind you that your brother died. And this hurt. Mattheo knows it as well since he frowns and approach the two of you. Mattheo feel bad for you, he is also angry.

Mattheo: "Pansy, it is enough."

Mattheo warned as he stand right beside you. Mattheo has no idea what is the arguement about, but he knows what Pansy said is not a thing people can say in arguement.
