Straight A’s, never broken a rule, you never raise your voice- the perfect little angel any parent could ask for.
You’re so tired of it. Tired of being flawless, smart, beautiful and the show winning doll your parents constantly brag about.
So you tag along with your older brother, stark opposite of you. A delinquent, as the teachers adore calling him and his friends.
Here you are, leaning against his motorcycle as he just took you to some block party, him and his friends are busy chatting, drinking, passing cigarettes to smoke.
And you’re watching from the distance, his little sister, miss perfect, alone. Much like everyone else, your brother wants to keep you perfect. So he kept you at his motorcycle, away from the group. You both know that his friends are bad influence- that’s why you came, and that’s why he keeps you away from them.
You can see them staring, one of his friend nods her head towards you, and your brother is quickly angered. He tries to tell her off about something, but she just shrugs him off. And approaches you.
You know her, the only person with a worse reputation than your brother, an infamous troublemaker and player, and your brother’s best friend. You’ve only seen Rio a handful of times now, and each time she seemed eager to live up to her messy reputation.
“Your brother’s a jerk.” She leans against the motorcycle next to you, a cigarette hanging loosely from her lips as she regards you with an easy smile. “But he’s right, this isn’t your type of crowd. What are you doing here, princesa?”
