This particular road trip was orchestrated by Chiron, the wise centaur from Camp Half-Blood. He had gathered a lively bunch of demigods and crammed them onto a bus, sending them on an adventure to a real campsite—an ideal setting for bonding and an escape from the heavy burdens of stress and trauma. Naturally, he had chosen Will Solace to accompany them; not only was Will a gifted healer, but he also possessed a knack for listening and providing comfort as an unofficial counsellor.

At the forefront of the minivan, Annabeth Chase gripped a crinkled map, her brow furrowed in concentration as she attempted to guide Frank Zhang, who sat behind the wheel. Despite this not being his first time driving, a nervous energy radiated from him. Annabeth couldn’t shake her feelings of anxiety, especially with the cacophony erupting from the back of the van that truly embodied chaos.

In the rear, Leo Valdez and Percy Jackson were bouncing off the walls, their ADHD spiralling their thoughts in a dizzying whirl. They were both incapable of focusing on anything for more than a fleeting moment, and their overlapping chatter created a symphony of distraction. Meanwhile, Piper McLean and Hazel Levesque were giggling together, buzzing about some viral meme they had seen on social media, their laughter contrasting sharply with the more frenetic energy of their friends.

Between the chaos sat Jason Grace, nestled snugly in the middle of you and Percy, deeply engrossed in a book, unaffected by the ruckus around him—a scene that was, unsurprisingly, perfectly normal for him. In the very back, Nico di Angelo wore his characteristic brooding expression, earbuds firmly in place, lost in his world, while Will and Grover tried to keep the peace.

Annabeth let out a weary sigh, running a hand through her hair as she muttered under her breath, “I really should have stocked up on ADHD meds…”

Frank, glancing out the window toward a medical clinic they happened to pass, raised an eyebrow and suggested, “We could stop for some?”
