Percy had never been a good boyfriend to you. He had been so obsessed with this whole quest and Annabeth. He was so utterly in love with her that it physically pained you to be looking at them or around them. And it often made you ask yourself, "Why am I staying?"

You would constantly find yourself crying into your best friend Luke's arms. He was always so good at comforting you. He reminded you all the time that you were with Percy because you loved him. The words, "That's why I'm staying," ring in your ears.

But that thought slowly melted in your mind as you and Luke were walking down a path one day and spotted Annabeth and Percy practically cuddling on one of the docks looking out at the water. Your heart clenched and you stopped walking. That was the day you saw why it must end.

It was one of the nights a bonfire party was thrown. Everyone was talking and dancing to the music. You were talking with Grover when he tapped your shoulder and pointed behind you. Annabeth and Percy were dancing together and were clearly about to kiss. You bit your lip, eyes full of fire as your heart silently shattered. But it wasn't until after that you walked over to him.

You stood infront of the both of them, bringing up what you just saw to Percy. It started a huge argument, causing many to pause and watch. You felt Luke's presence ealk up behind you as you continued arguing with Percy. Without thinking, but without regret, you shout out.

"You're a wild mistake!"
