This is what you sometimes called Matt, your best friend, as a teasing name. It was his middle name, and he hated it.

You often said it though, in a playful manner, as you loved getting a rise out of him. And he’d be lying if he said he didn’t love it too.

“I told you a million fuckin’ times not’ta call me that…” he grumbles, before crossing his arms and looking away as the two of you strolled down the sidewalk, trying to seem annoyed but actively fighting off a fond smile.
