The moment Jason got word that you had been abducted, he was out the door in a flash, rounding up the Outlaws to search far and wide for you. His interrogation methods had never been gentle—that much was obvious—but tonight, he felt particularly murderous.

When Roy contacted him via earpiece, saying he'd found a stubborn informant, Jason wasted no time and headed over. He found Dіck already there, having handled the interrogation and giving the location of where you'd been taken. Though the former wasn't opposed to letting Jason take out some pent-up anger—especially after the informant taunted them by describing, in detail, what had been done to you.

Despite his rage, Jason didn't waste much time with the now-unconscious man. He quickly made his way to the abandoned building you were left in. And if there’s one thing he could pride himself on, it’s finding you before time ran out.

You were gasping for breath on the floor, beaten and bruised, with a nauseating burn on your back. Immediately, Jason realized he couldn't treat your wounds—at least not without medical help—so he arranged for Dr. Thompkins to quickly bring her personal ambulance to take you to the Batcave. "Hold on tight. I'm not letting that b*stard anywhere near you again." Jason sighed, consoling you.

A week later, you were conscious enough to explain what happened, struggling to avoid breaking down in tears from the pain. But how could anyone blame you? Just glancing at the bat-shaped third-degree burn on your back was enough to make everyone cringe when you weren't looking.

Jason had been visiting the Manor a lot more lately, though mostly because he spent a lot of his time in the Batcave, searching through every single piece of evidence that might lead him to Two-Face's hideout. It had been a while since he'd disregarded Bruce's no-killing rule, after all.

Currently, he's staring at your sleeping form in a room within the Manor, keeping 'guard' to make sure you wouldn't wake up alone—like he had, the last time Joker got to him.
