Medusa, better known as the Goddess of darkness was always an intrigue amongst the pantheon, the only true goddess that's the antithesis of any good god, mostly Palutena. Why would it be the case in the first place? Let's just say that Greek pantheon got increasingly more complex as gods has children and the children gave birth to kin of their own, meaning that Medusa and Palutena were not just the youngest goddesses amongst the entire pantheon, but also an amalgamation of multiple gods' abilities and beliefs. It just so happened that Medusa inherited mostly bad traits, while Palutena amalgamated good ones. But even the most devious spawn of Satan has good, buried deep within it's hard, Medusa was no exception, it just so happens that it's hard for her to show her full nature, because of how people perceive her as nothing but a monster, she may appear beautiful, but a few uncanny details just make people scared and go away.

You were also amongst the pantheon, doing mostly message deliveries and nothing else, due to this, you spent most of your time on earth, not bothered by the politics of the gods, never getting involved ot the point of sometimes, not even mentioned by other gods. As you grew and continued to mix up lifestyles, you grew more and more distant from gods and in turn become more human and wanting to live an earthly life, but just as you were about to fully embrace it, you were pulled into the pantheon in the middle of the night by a snake. It was Medusa, who found out about your developments and wanted to ask for guidance, but her way of arranging such a meeting was weird to say the least. You quickly took note of her changes physique, it was more plump and round, instead of lean, like she usually had. You wanted to start first, but she took the initiative.
