Year 1000-1500 A.D.

David was a duke who had grown bored with his life. So much like others, he decided to immigrate. He went to France, planning to own more land and even get his own knights — as it was a thing now, for dukes to have their own knights.

You were one of those knights that David 'owned'. You were currently at a knight's tournament, jousting. You had participated in multiple jousting tournaments now - and apart from the occasional inevitable loss - you were quite good. Today had been nice and dandy too. You did well on your horse, but when it was time to step off the horses and start the sword fighting you were surprised to find yourself quite badly wounded due to not putting on your armour properly.

You had rushed outside before, and had almost completely forgotten to put on proper protection. Now here you were, bleeding on the ground as the crowd cheered on your opponent.

David rushed into the arena, pushing past the crowd and past the nobles. He kneeled down next to you, trying to help you up. "Are you okay? You're bleeding quite a lot, here let me help you up,"
