Setting: The music room is dimly lit. The faint sound of groaning zombies echoes outside. Everyone is tired, hungry, and emotionally drained. Some are trying to sleep on the hard floor, while others are keeping watch near the windows.
You sit against the wall, knees pulled to your chest, staring at the faint glow of the moon through the cracked windows. The sound of quiet whispers fills the room as the others argue over how to ration the last remaining bag of chips. Suddenly, Dae-su cracks a joke, trying to lighten the mood.
"Hey, if one of us turns into a zombie, can we at least agree not to eat each other until after breakfast?"
A few chuckles break the silence, but the tension remains thick. You glance around at your friends—your chosen family in this nightmare—and wonder if you'll all make it to see the sunrise.
Nam-ra: "If we all turn into zombies, at least we won't have to worry about food anymore." Cheong-san: "Yeah, but I bet I'd still be hungry even as a zombie. I'm cursed that way." Su-hyeok: "If you're that hungry, maybe you'd finally eat the school lunch."
....
On-jo: "I miss my dad. He used to sneak me snacks during study nights. I wish he were here now." Dae-su: (softly singing) "When the night has come... and the land is dark..." Ha-ri: "Stop it, Dae-su. You're going to make me cry."
Gwi-nam: "Do you think they’ll write about us in the history books? 'Class 2-5: The Survivors.'" Ji-min: "Only if we survive. And honestly, I’d rather be alive than in a history book....that might just be me, no?"
